We are wrapping up the school year and I am not sure who is more excited, the parents or the girls! They both have done so well this year in school and applied themselves to their fullest potential. Now its time to pull out the summer bucket list and enjoy the break from studies!
We had a great Mother's Day. We had church then did really nothing at my request. Home was the perfect place to be with my family!
What better day than Mother's Day than to document a few of my favorite things about each of the girls at the stage of life they are in.

Gracie:
-- I love that you have embraced academics and applied yourself so well. You have developed a love for math and with that an independence we are all thankful for!
--I love your determination (with some strong encouragement) to learn to ride you bike! You are a pro now and ride almost every day.
-- I love your modesty. You are always aware of what is appropriate to wear to be a lady.
-- I love your friendships. You have developed further this year some sweet friendships that encourage each other and while you all have areas of similarities you embrace and encourage the differences.
-- I love the responsibility you display. From your chores and helping to take care of Bella to caring for you ears. Age 10 was the perfect age for you to take on this additional responsibility.
Maggie:
-- I love the constant adventure you make life!
-- I love your spunk which keeps me on my toes constantly.
-- I love watching you learn to swim and further develop in the pool. While you have no interest in swim team, you do demonstrate an independence in the pool that I love.
-- I love listening to you read. You know all your sight words and work hard to sound out words (but on your own terms)
--I love you try so hard to keep up with your sister! She is a great role model, but you also don't let that change who you are!
--I love your voice text to people. Most recently you told KK "you did a great job raising my Mommy". How funny. Where did this come from?
Monday Gracie had a choir performance. She enjoyed dinner with the group and we took Maggie out to 1885 for dinner before the performance. It was fun to watch Gracie on stage. She has come a long with with her confidence!

We hosted our Cleveland church campus leadership team for dinner and fellowship.

We attempted to pick strawberries this weekend. While we did get some, we waited too late in the season to have the pick of the best. We had fun trying though.
