**Warning...Photo overload :) The pictures tell a better story than words ever could I think this week.
What a great week! We had a wonderful week resting, relaxing, spending time with family, quite mornings with coffee in hand and enjoying the creation God has blessed us with! I don’t say it often enough how blessed I am with wonderful In Laws who have always loved me like their own and always willing to do anything they can for us. Often when we tell people we do a family beach trip with the extended family some could not imagine a whole week that way. We love it. We get time with grandparents, cousins, and Aunt Tammy and Uncle Joey! We are all so blessed to have the time together with some funny jokes woven into the week of course.

 |
| Broken shells…..the girls found great delight in them and declared them as "pretty". I pray that I always see the broken as pretty and not just throw it away as if it is nothing! God's creation is always beautiful even those broken pieces, just like our lives! |
 |
| Something about just looking at the ocean from the beach that we could do all day! |
 |
| Checking out their newest collection. |

The girls both have become extremely confident in the water. Gracie is eager to begin swim team and has really worked hard on her form in the water. We are looking forward to the next six weeks! Maggie about Wednesday swimming just seemed to click with her. She did not want to have her arm floats or her backpack and gradually began to swim farther and farther. She has good technique as well coming up to breathe and not getting choked. She has an unhealthy confidence and will jump right in now that she can “swim”, but she needs to learn we need to be right there. She can even do a handstand and flip in the 2 or 3 foot side! She really loves to also dive for the rings!
Maggie Funnies:
“I am going to catch your snappy” as she reaches for my nose. This is what Papa tells Maggie when her noise is running.
“Why do they have snakes in their hair?” she said at two of the hostesses at Hyman’s who had braids in their hair.
We had news to celebrate too!
--I received a promotion to PMTL effective July 1. I will have to share in a separate post how this transpired and the peace we ultimately feel as a family regarding this decision.
--Thursday night we received a call from CCS....Maggie has been accepted into their Pre K program that will begin this fall. God is so good! Three years ago when we enrolled Gracie our prayer had been that they would begin a Pre K program and that Maggie would have the opportunity to not repeat the same class at her daycare for her final year before Kindergarden. Jimmy would tell you “it all works out”. We both believe that God has orchestrated each moment and decision including this!
 |
| So we say goodbye to this bag! We have used this bag since Gracie started daycare at 2 months old and have used it through Maggie's last day at daycare! Its bittersweet but we are ready to move Maggie to Pre K at CCS! |
