Resurrection Sunday 2018

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus!   We went to church and then were home for a yummy dinner and visiting with Uncle Gabe, Grammy, and Papa!

The girls baskets are always hidden and we do those before we start the day.  What the baskets don't show is they also got smart lights in their rooms and the playroom that are tied to their Amazon devices.

Mama loves pictures with my family!

Bella bomb!

We enjoyed an afternoon outside riding bikes.  Maggie's training wheels are off!

this is what our summer will look like!

perfect way to spend a day!

Spring Break Ohio 2018

My parents have taken the girls since Gracie started school to Ohio for Spring Break.  They plan so many fun things.  The last few years Ellie has been able to go as well.   So we cut their time a little short to be able to do Toronto first, but they they all wrapped up the week with Gjysh and KK.

The girls got to spend one day with my mom and grandma (their Great Grandma Sutton).  They did a candy factory tour at the Spangler Candy Company and did some baking!

They also went to the zoo, a drive through zoo and so many more things!

Jump park!

reading to dogs at the library!

all snuggled and piled in!

Toledo Zoo!

and no one can lave without having Mr. Freeze!

The week's testing was pizza.  They had a different pizza every day.   They loved it, but are a bit over pizza as are Gjysh and KK I think!

We have our girls back! We sure missed them.
they all missed each other!

quick stop in Knoxville!  Yummy!

Toronto 2018 Spring Break

The girls went to Toronto with Uncle Gabe in January to visit Aunt Katelyn, Ellie and Silas.  When they came back they were eager to go again and we wanted to experience the city but even more so see the family.   6 months is far too long to be away!   So for Spring Break we flew to Toronto for a few days before the girls went to my parents house for the rest of break.    We had a blast!!!

We experienced Niagara Falls, our first hockey game, Tim Hortons (Canadian style), shopping, and what probably topped it all was Curling!

Flight out:
here we go!
We love to fly!

Niagara Falls:

Next stop - Hockey!

We did get some downtime in as well.   Since they kids would not spend Easter together we did an egg hunt inside while we were together.  Note quite the same, but it was fun!

We had all been eager to do Curling.  Jimmy especially as that is his favorite winter olympic sport.  We had two lovely older ladies that lead our lesson before we had time on the ice to perfect our techniques.

about every city has their own curling club!

Jimmy got very close to the center!

This girl loved it and did better than any of us!

We spent two hours here and had the ice to ourselves!

I adore my "little" brother.  We loved spending the weekend together!

Yes, she landed that stone almost perfect!

We hated to say goodbye!  We loaded up the girls to meet my parents.
and like that our trip to Toronto is a wrap!
we passed this gas station every day.  It reminds me of the Jetson's show we watched as a child.  Very space like!
When Gabe got home...
Gabe flew back a day ahead of us.  When he got home he passed "the great parking spot" Jimmy talked about the whole time we were together!

Then.... when we got home and picked Bella up she refused to move from the front seat!  So I moved to the back just this once!
