November Recap- Ohio Round 2

November proved to be a fun filled month with lots of fun family time and special events.    Here are the just because we do life together pictures.  No special event just this life we live and o how I love it!

Quiet Sunday afternoon.

Maggie lately does not stop for a pic so when she does we cherish it!  he sure loves her Daddy!

We love our time around the table the 4 of us.   Breakfast while we wake up and dinner to recap our day.   This  smile is precious!

Maggie's favorite winter outfit -- this hat, this sweatshirt, skinny jeans and boots!   Love her spunk that always shows through.

the baby of the family!

Mommy had an Atlanta overnight and the Girls had a school delay...so what does the best Daddy do?  They stop at First Watch for breakfast!

I love the middle school years with her!   Don't get me wrong, they are hard some days..but this face makes it all worth it!

We did start to wrap Christmas gifts!

Sometimes you just need a Bella and a good nap!
We snagged a few Christmas pics outside of the fall photos we do for our annual thankful card.   This year we met up with Gabe and Kat and the kiddos.   I can't say it enough how much I adore my little brother and raising our kids together!

We met up in Atlanta with Jimmy's entire family for dinner and to see Wicked at the Fox.  The show was good, but the company was even better!    With Tammy and her family being several hours away and crazy schedules as well we will take any time we can get.

Growing old with you is the best thing!  You saw often you love how much we laugh and have fun together.  Me too!

Pops, Grammy, Jimmy, and Tammy

The entire gang

the grand girls!

It was a long day.. a Sunday night and home by midnight for school the next day!

We made another trip to Ohio to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas together with my family.   It was priceless to be together again.
before we left we had to get a praline cooking lesson from Grammy!  We wanted to take them to Ohio with us.
quick stop for dinner in Lexington

a quiet morning deserves your own coffee!

the girls with Charlie (Sophia's baby)

The girls with Judah (Chloe's baby)
the entire Schmitz crew (minus Lily who was in Atlanta soon to be engaged and Michael, Sophia's husband).  It was such a special time to spend the afternoon together.   My first babies (I started watching Sophia when she was just. a baby and I was in middle school and were flower girls in our wedding) had babies that my own babies (now big girls) got to meet!   We love seeing them when we are home.
cousins!

My family and my brother's family with my grandmother Sutton

Grandma Sutton and her grandkids and great grandkids

Both our families with my Grandma Whitmer and my Great Aunt Kay
Really special.  Silas Lowel is named after my Grandfather who passed away when I was 4.   If we were to have had a boy we would have named him Jeremiah Lowel after Grandpa.   I am glad Gabe had a little boy and could.

we ventured out for Black Friday shopping... the mall was not bad at all.   I love hanging out with my family.

Best Uncle!!  He gives her such a hard time!

Gjysh and KK with their grands!

October 2019 Recap - Ohio Round 1

October we recouped from our fall break trip and were busier than we would like, but sometimes this time of year is like that.   My cousin was getting married in Ohio the same weekend of Jimmy's annual already planned flights booked guys trip.   We tagged along with my brother and his family for a quick trip up to Ohio.  We were up there less than 36 hours but it was great to see my parents and family.

We got Silas from School!

KK time watching animal videos

a required lunch stop -- Barry Bagels!

We snagged a few pics for the great grandkid "John Deere" photo for my grandmother.

I do have the best brother!

Ready for the wedding!
Crazy Uncle Gabe!
All dressed for the wedding.
My girls are growing before my eyes!
My parents made cheesecakes for the wedding!!   Delicious!

It was special to be able to spend the time with my grandmother.  She has not been in good health and we cherish the moments we get with her.

Uncle Gabe played a joke on Maggie.  He convinced her that Gracie (age 13) was going to drive the Suburban  back to Tennessee when we were on the trip.  Ha!!

This girl had a great trip!    She took over my iPad and noise canceling headphones!

We wrapped October up with Papa having shoulder surgery and Halloween.   We did something different this year and went up to Gabe's new house on Signal to Trick or Treat!

Papa loves!  The girls made him the Georgia knot blanket to recover with.

Gracie and Mallory!  M&Ms

Maggie wanted to be a gymnast!

And some just because I love my crew and want to capture this life with them!

one of Maggie's cold rainy soccer games!

Best cousins!

We took on a compassion girl!  This will be a fun experience for us.

Fire night snuggles.  This baby thinks she is sometimes to big to snuggle with Mama so when she does I snag every moment (and maybe picture!)
