Thanksgiving 2015!

Mom and Dad came into town late Monday to participate in Grandparents Day at the girls school.  They were thrilled!   It was such a treat to have them in all week.  We celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas too!   I sat each night just blessed by my family and the kids around us.  It was so nice to have my parents in town and my brother and his family over each night.   I could get use to this!

My favorite Kindergarten homework.   The kids are each asked to decorate a turkey feather with any texture they like.  Maggie's is the top middle to the right with all the pom moms.

This week we spent time together and regrouped from our trip to Vegas.   Jimmy got home Monday night and had a few days in Nashville with lots of down time this weekend getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas too!

I just watched as she played and thought about how much time as passed.  This little kitchen was Christmas gift for Gracie when she was about 2 and now Maggie at 6 still enjoys it (and Ellie when she is over)

Cracker Barrel for dinner while Daddy was out.  They loved to sit by the fire. 

While Gracie had a sleepover, Maggie enjoyed her Birthday Date with Mommy and Daddy (although she was tired and got a good little nap in the car)

Sunday pic.  This dress was one of Ally's that was passed down to Gracie and now to Maggie.  I think it was each of the girls favorite dress!!   I predict we will wear it out!

One thing I have been meaning to document is when Maggie is excited and hears something she likes or is getting something she wants, she says with so much excitement and energy "Hallelujah"!

Papa is in town! 

Sunday Papa came into town to take care of the girls while Jimmy and i took a trip to Las Vegas.  It was a part business trip for him and I worked a few days as well out there, but enjoyed the travel together, dinners out, and a great show Le Rave.

Ahh, this girl!  I know getting away is good for Jimmy and I as well as Gracie, but sometimes it is so hard!    She had a great week and was all smiles when I got home! 

It's so refreshing to have undivided time with this man!   Love you!

While this is hard with schedules, commitments, and two girls who like us home we try to focus on each other whether is a date night or a date trip.   It all counts!

I did try to work pool side, however the wind advisory to be taken serious as it about blew me over!  I headed back inside.

The girls had a great week while we were out with lots of snuggles from Papa and great memories!  He did a great job juggling them to school, activities, and lots of love.

I flew back in Thursday night while Jimmy stayed out in Vegas for a few additional nights for a guys weekend watching sports.   The girls and I got some great snuggles, put up the christmas tree, and each had a friend over to spend the night.   It was a full weekend with my girls.
