Wrapping up School!

As we wrapped up the school year and pushed into summer we were focused on just getting to the end!  The girls had a great academic year and grew so much in relationships and in their faith.
even with a great year almost to an end this sums it up!
They look like they are loving on each other willingly... however this was a punishment for being nasty to each other before they could swim.
They won't always be little but we will let them crawl up into our laps as often as they want!
Amen!!

We were tired headed into summer and knew our bodies and family needed a break!    Maggie struggled with headaches and some tummy issues as school was wrapping up.  We are praying for a summer of rest and that appears to be just what she needed.

I came home from a long week trip right before Mother's Day to find my car at the airport decorated! I feel so loved!

The girls love to snuggle in our bed with Bella and to just chill.

Bella is one rotten dog!  She is always being carried snuggled, fed treats and is really the big baby of the family.

This girl!   I say often she either keeps me young or makes me age, but one thing is true... she brings so much joy to our family and in the process of her growing she is growing me!

Gracie breezed through the start to middle school, but we know there are hard years to come for all of us!  Our prayer is that we yield to stillness before reaction and always remind each other of the love we have through the grace we show.

We had wonderful warm weather in May and were able to be outside quite a bit.   We cherish these moments and build our weekends around time together at home.
a few years makes a big difference in the backyard!

The last day of school was celebrated!   The girls were rewarded with a great school year with new floats, water bottles, shirts, and other fun stuff for summer.

We snagged lunch together before the afternoon home.  I enjoyed the afternoon with the girls!

The girls have required things to do each day before they can ear time on iPhone, iPad, tv, etc.   It has worked really well so far.

First day of summer schedule and they embraced it well.  I love to see them snuggled up with a good book!
