62nd Wedding Anniversary!

**Warning...picture overload!   It captures the weekend more than words ever could!

This week was a sprint to get to Thursday.  Sunday we enjoyed some family time and did some packing for our Ohio trip.   Nashville Monday through Wednesday was a blur, but I got a lot accomplished.

Thursday we kicked off the day with a cup of coffee and a 9 hour trip to Ohio.   No matter how old I got, being home is always special.   I pray the girls always feel that way and live close enough to enjoy it more often than we get to!   (We are already positioning for any college within just a few hours of the house as the likely hood they graduate and stay around where they choose to go to school is great! ha!).

When we got in my brother and SIL were already in town with Ellie.   While they live close to us in Tennessee, its always nice to hang out.
KK, Gracie, Ellie and Maggie (yes, Maggie does "bunny ears" in almost any picture we take! ha)

Let the weekend begin....Gjysh got home and was on the floor ready to play!

The weekend was filled with some great times with my parents, an early Christmas, family play time and the biggest event was my the celebration of my grandparents 62nd wedding anniversary.   It was fun to see family and connect for such a special event.   I am so blessed to have grandparents that set such a wonderful example of their vows and commitment to each other and Christ and am blessed that our girls could be apart of that.

Playing gymnastics on Gjysh and KK's bed.

Every year the girls since their birth do their foot print!  Its a neat keepsake that my parents plan to do until they turn 18.   Its amazing to see how much they have grown!

A quick picture with my favorite man!

We love Dietsch's chocolate!  Gracie's face was so funny as this was a gift for us, not the girls (although we did share)

My brother Gabe, Sister in law Katelyn, and sweet niece Ellie

Our sweet family!  I am so blessed!

My parents (Gjysh and KK to the kids).   Love you!

My sweet grandparents at 62 years of marriage still in love and caring for each other!  We love you both and are blessed by your investment in our lives!

The happy couple!

Each of their great grandkids handed them a different color Gerber Daisy as they walked in.   It was so sweet!

8 great grandkids and counting!

Chilling out our last day in Ohio.

My love!

KK covered Maggie in lipstick kisses!

Of course the girls loved their time with their aunts, uncles and cousins!

Aunt Bek made the girls each blankets with their names on them.  They have not put them down!

Cousins in the leaves!

Maggie playing in the leaves.  She asked when we got home if we could rake a BIG pile!

Gracie enjoying every minute!

Maggie, Gracie and Micah looking at all our wedding photos.  They did this several times a day.  Mom and Dad have an album with photos form each of our weddings.  Its so amazing how young we looked 12 years ago!
