Longing for THIS weekend!

This was a week that I longed for the weekend.  Not that I wish time away as I know that means the girls are older, more independent and onto a stage of life that I am not ready for!    I am so blessed as are the girls by the wonderful Daddy they have.  While I miss every minute with them, he juggled a week of work with deadlines, a call that Maggie was sick and needed to come home, multiple tests with Gracie to study for on top of just keeping the house going and still making time to talk to me at the end of the day!

The weekend.... we enjoyed the day snuggling in the morning, switching Maggie's clothes for the season (at her request), roller skating, Gracie and Mommy getting our hair done and Maggie and Jimmy picking up the final furniture for the porch to snuggle on.  

I don't know if Maggie was more excited to see me or go through all the hotel goodies I store up for them while I am gone!
