December... where did you go? We spent the month celebrating it seems!
Grandparents Day at CCS is always fun, more for Elementary than Upper School it seems. Gracie begged to be able to leave early and go to lunch... so of course since it involved the Grands the answer was yes!
| They did stop by and see Silas too! He was more interested in the snacks we heard. |
Gracie had Art as an elective this semester and really thrived. She clearly has her Gjysh's artistic talent although did not catch his love for it.
| Watercolr |
| Shoe turned ice cream sundae! |
The girls have asked for several years to try ice skating so we tackled that with the Borings. Well, really Jimmy and Mark watched and photographed and I prayed I could still skate after 20+ years... ha. We all did well.
| We are thankful for friends to do life with and that they love our girls so dearly. |
Other fun in the month....
| Sunday Kids Church... Maggie has been thriving. |
| Maggie wore her hair like Cindy Lou (Dr. Seuss) |
| Yes she thinks she is a human |
| new elves for the year (note- we don't really do the elf thing but they have them and they have been added to as they "bring friends". The ones this year were a big hit!) |
| at dinner after a sleepover at our house for the start of Christmas Break... I am not sure they slept more than a few hours if that and giggled more than they slept for sure. She was one tired girl. |
| Maggie got new glasses. |
| Maggie had her Christmas recorder performance. |

| Maggie read a scripture to start service |
We stretch Christmas out quite a bit with so many family Christmas celebrations to get in.
| Grammy and Papa |
| balance... |
We did a quick family photo shoot with Gabe's crew a few weeks before. It was fun to capture our families together.
| I say it all the time and I pray this remains .... we absolutely love raising our kiddos together. They are all 3 and a half years apart between each of them and have such a special bond individually and all together. |
| Gracie and Silas are precious together! The youngest and the oldest. |
| Hot Wheels track please!!! Auntie Rach and Uncle Jimmy were happy to do that! |
Christmas Eve morning we met up with Grammy, Papa, Aunt Tammy, Uncle Joey, and Ally for breakfast. Christmas Eve with the Martin's has always been an all day event, but these days is more low key than it use to be. We try to meet up when we can.
