3rd Grade Field Day and Fun Weekend!

The week started in Atlanta grabbing dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Chuy's, to celebrate Gracie's birthday with Grammy and Papa.    They have homemade tortillas which are delicious.   The girls enjoy watching them make there.   Grammy and Papa then dropped me off at my hotel in Atlanta for week with work.

Jimmy and the girls did great as they always do while I am away.   Jimmy is super Daddy juggling work, the girls, Bella, phase 1 of the closet construction and packing for a weekend in Atlanta.   I am one lucky lady!

Before they all headed to pick me up in Atlanta they enjoyed field day at CCS.   Its a fun morning to watch the kids play compete.

PreK did not participate this year but did get to watch!

We spent the weekend in Atlanta with Papa (Grammy was out of town at a women's retreat).  When the girls picked me up at my hotel, The Ritz,  the girls response was "wow, this is different than the hotels we stay at".   They are right.  They had some other funny questions and comments.  "How old do you have to be to stay here?" (Gracie)  "Were those all your people helping you?" (Maggie).  The girls enjoyed the peach jelly beans they have for guests!

After the family picked me up we treated the girls to our favorite place to grab dessert in Atlanta when we do a long date weekend there (Paolo's Gelato Italiano).   I think they liked it!

We went to see Ally in her school play, The Wizard of Oz.     It was a late night but so much fun to watch Ally in her element performing.
