This week started and ended with a date night. Sunday night we took the girl on a date. While it was dinner out, it was to a restaurant we do not normally take them as we like to go there on date night. So it was a big treat to them! As you can see on their faces they were pretty happy to be included and were on such great behavior.

We started the weekend after a long trip for work with a drive in movie, Elf. Ellie jointed us too. The girls then started Saturday morning off right with breakfast made by them. It was so sweet.

Today they had a birthday party at High Point Climbing. This was the first time we had been there and loved it!

We wrapped up tonight with Ms. Tiffany spending time with the girls while we met some of our closest friends, Jack and Tina, for a fun night of bowling and dinner. We are so blessed by friends that keep us laughing and feeling young (and old at the same time! ha) but most of all keep us grounded as individuals, in our marriage and as parents!
