Home Sweet Home!

This week I enjoyed a full week home to refresh with my family and snuggle.  I can see the light at the end with a different travel schedule I hope in 2016.    I am reminded often through all this several things:  1) that I am where God has called me to be right now to be used in so many way in corporate America, 2) that He has given Jimmy extra strength and patience on nights when there are activities, homework and two girls that need us, 3) He has provided for the girls with extra loves everywhere they go each day at school and iPads to FaceTime Mommy! 4) He has given me perspective on nights when I am away and it just seems too hard to make the next trip and 5) He has given is so many special family weekends both home and away together making memories and just enjoying the quiet of life together!

Bella too!
This week being home was a blessing and just what we all needed.

Lunch with Mommy at school!   Love these smiles! We all needed this!

Someone has been extra tried.

Maggie has been extra tired and also struggling a little with some of her friends and feeling left out.  We know girls will be girls and struggling at times to be kind and include everyone (my own girls included sometimes fail to think of everyone).  We are covering the girls with lots of prayers for kind hearts and the ability to see the needs of each friend.

We also traveled to Atlanta for the Martin extended family Christmas party that we attend every other year usually.  It was fun to see cousins and family!

Bella made the trip to Grammy and Papa's with us.  She loves the car and the girls enjoy her riding with them too.

Gracie and Mommy trying to pass the time in the car (neither of us are all that patient)

Maggie makes some funny faces!

Sleepy girl!

So my view after being crowded by Bella who likes the front seat!

This picture is priceless to me.   Cousins huddled together while Papa prays over the meal and family.

Maggie has been asking when their "nice" elves will come.  So I snuck them in the bag and they showed up at Grammy and Papa's house.  Since ours is "nice" and does not make a mess they can snuggle them.   I refuse to do the elf thing!

Tired girl!
Maggie loved to play with her elf.
The ride home.  I managed to keep my seat in the front on this ride!
