Late Easter Egg Hunt and Gracie's 10th Birthday Weekend

When you are not home on Easter you do an egg hunt late.  We always do an egg hunt with the girls where the eggs are filled with $2 bills and gold dollar coins (and some candy to but this year we stuck with the money).   It will be fun next you to have little Silas (Gabe and Kat's newest little boy due this summer) with us!

Someone getting some great Bella snuggles!
We are enjoying the nice weather!

Gracie is almost ready for a bigger bike!

Ready to find our eggs!

Ellie we sure love you!

Going through their eggs

We had friends stay with us all week while the floors in their house were being redone.  It was fun to have the kids together to play and visit so much.

What happens when you have a busy week?  You are ahead of schedule and dress your daughters for class pictures a week early! Ha

Gracie had been asking for years to get her ears pierced.  We said when she was 10 she could decided.  This year rather than birthday parties we are doing an experience or trip together.  We went to Murfreesboro near Nashville to have her ears pierced.  We met some friends there who have a daughter Gracie's age so they were able to do it together.  Then we went to see their uncle's horses before dinner.

Bella!

Daddy, Maggie and Gracie snuggles on a Friday night!  He is such a great Daddy!

Gracie was upset we could not find a way to light the candles!   She had a great birthday dinner!
