Spring Break Ohio 2016

Sunday Pic

She is sure growing into such a sweet young lady!  I am so blessed to call her mine!

Maggie is such a joy and brings so much spunk to our lives!  We adore you Doodle!

A day they are each others best friends.... (wish this was every day..)

o my the faces they can make!

Before the girls left for Ohio to spend with my parents we enjoyed a fire night and family.   My Aunt Bea and her family stopped by on their way to the beach.   Of course we did a fire and roasted marshmallows!

Thursday after school each of the girls had a friend over for a sleep over.  The littles were up the latest!

Lucy and Gracie!

someone was a little tired but was out running a few errands with Mommy!

a yummy treat!

Just chilling!

nothing beats a night by the fire.  I try to store all these memories away as I know so many will be made out here together!
Friday night Maggie was up most that night with a fever and complaining she did not feel well.  We decided to see how she did through the day before we met my parents.  She seemed fine so we went ahead.  Well, maybe that was not the best decision as she was sick the first half of their trip up there.   I know my parents did a great job loving on her but I hated that she was not home snuggled with me!

Ready to go to Ohio!

sleepy girl and not quite herself.
The girls always enjoy spring break and time with Gjysh and KK.  This year it fell on Easter so they also got to go to church and do family dinner with my Grandma Sutton and the family.   My favorite Easter memories are always at their house when Grandpa would welcome us with "Happy Resurrection Day" and after a great meal we could hunt for our Easter baskets from Grandpa and Grandpa made out of Cool Whip containers and all kinds of candy!   What a joy that that girls got to be there this year with Grandma while Grandpa watches over from Heaven.
Easter Baskets at Gjysh and KK's house!

I sure missed being with these two on Easter!

an Easter treat at grandma's house.  She always did cute little things like this growing up.

Maggie and Grandma.  Maggie was named Margaret after her!

These two are so sweet!  (with Charles the frog)

a rainy Ohio day!
Bella soaked up the week of being the only child (ha).   But she was super excited to see the girls.

Bella always wants to ride in the front with me!

She was enjoying the space on the trip back

she insisted on laying on me most the night after my trip with work.

When the girls got home they hunted for their baskets left at our house.  They were so eager to see where they were hidden.

This girl is such a homebody.   It always stretched her in a good way to be away.  We miss her like crazy!

I am not sure it ever bothers this one to be away, but she is always excited to be home.  We love you beyond measure Mags!

Ready to find their baskets....

Check out this hair!

Maggie found her basket hidden in their bathtub.

Gracie found her basket hidden in the Yeti cooler in our bedroom.

The night is complete!

bedtime snuggles with this one!

We joke that Bella was like "ah, my people are all home I can rest now" and that is exactly what she did!
