Homework and Friends

We often can be found on the porch this time of year any time we are home.  We all say this is our happy place!!  

Maggie did her homework on the porch one night!!   

 Bella had a follow up appointment and they were very pleased with her progress.  We were given the okay to start to give her time without the cone of shame!  We were all a little excited about that.

Gracie got the first snuggles without her cone. 

 Gracie had a science day out on Lookout Mountain and Jimmy was a parent leader.   The girls talked him into a treat after school!

 Small Group Friday!    Gracie is in a new small group at church for middle school girls (and sometimes their moms).   This was our second meeting and the girls were so sweet and had a lot of fun.

Game night!   The girls also had some great ideas about what they want for their group to be about and do.  I had such great friends and mentors growing up and pray they same for the girls here! 

Maggie had a sleepover for a birthday party Saturday night.  That was one brave mama!  8 1st grade girls.   They all had a great time.   Gracie got to have a friend over, Helen Grace, to spend the night.  They made pizza!

Its been so neat to watch these two grow in their friendship over the years!   CCS has provide an environment not only yo learn but to support growth in relationships.
