February 2019 Recap

Still catching up!  It is fun to reflect on some great memories we have had!

We celebrated Ellie's birthday at the jump park.   We soak up every moment we get all together and are so blessed to be able to raise our kiddos together.   The bond they have and continue to form is priceless.

what a day!  Maggie jumped hard.

This little guy loves his Gracie!

Birthday girl!

Sweet moments of life!

Sunday picture at church.  Remember the days when they were very little and I would do Sunday pictures every single week??   Yep.  That was when I could pick out their clothes and they would willingly smile for me!

Our favorite little guy!

Silas is learning to love Bella.   Look at that smile?  And look at that big girl looking so grown up!

Pretty fur baby!
Jimmy continues to enjoy hiking.  He has made some awesome friendships and the outdoors.

More life moments!
Twinning with Daddy (Gracie was).

mornings are sometimes really hard!

We have not played this game (Parcheesi) for maybe 15 years as we had a big marital conflict over it!  ha.  We decided it just was not good for our marriage.   Jimmy is competitive at all costs and I think I should have some grace.    We decided it was time to play and include the girls.  All it all it went well.

Valentine's morning.   It has become a tradition to have balloons and breakfast before the day starts.   I hope the girls always cherish this even as they are adults.   It is just a small way to love on them and communicate how special they are.

More special than Valentines Day is Papa's sobriety birthday that we celebrate on Valentine's Day.   It is the only birthday card Jimmy signs himself.    We are so proud of the decisions Papa made years ago that continue to impact our family.   We love you Pops!

Papa and his girls!
Maggie and her Monkey!   She loves this thing.

We snagged a weekend away with Jill and Donnie for a little hiking and a spa day in Highlands NC.   It was just what we needed to relax and refocus.  To say we love Jill and Donnie does not capture how special they are to us.   We are looking forward to years together with them (and maybe a wedding!)

We made a quick stop on our way at the Blue Hole (where the 1996 Olympics white water was when the olympics were in Atlanta)
I don't hike often, but was excited to get outside and see some new places.   The waterfalls were beautiful.

And this man... I adore him!

Ended the day by the fire (of course with my weighted blanket) after a massage, facial, hours in the spa relaxing, and a delicious dinner!
