May Recap- Count Down to Summer!

When we hit May we have begun to spend more time outside biking, playing, and yes even swimming.    It is refreshing and we are ready to count down to wrapping up a great school year and hitting the beach!  This year the first day we (well the girls since Mommy does not get in until late June when the water temp is at least 80+ degrees) was May 2nd.

Gracie was very helpful with the pool chores this summer. 

While we are all counting down too summer, Bella is saving every last day of the school year.  We joke that she is a school year dog.  She loves her humans, but when the girls are home all summer it wears her out! 

Maggie had Field Day and then we spent the evening with Addison while we waited for Gracie to get back from a school event.   

These girls-- one month apart and have been sweet friends since they were just a few months old.

For Mother's Day Jimmy had pictures taken of the girls at Lee.  They were so good.  I often miss the baby and toddler stages as they were so cuddly, but this stage is one of my favorites!  They hare their own persons and they show off God's creativity in their uniqueness. 

We enjoy strawberry season here.  We have a wonderful farm that grows strawberries, sunflowers, pumpkins and other goodies!   

We did share with Uncle Gabe and Aunt Katelyn.

This girl loves to ride her bike!   

Maggie is usually off with Ellie and Gracie usually has Silas.   But there are such sweet moments when it is flipped and they get snuggles.  They adore them.

A few other big events happened as we were wrapping up the school year.

My parents found a perfect farm home for them in Tennessee!   We are excited as they plan for retirement in a few years.
