Cluster Headaches and lots of prayer!

We are in a cluster headache cycle.  While Jimmy is the one suffering with them we are all affected.    This cycle is already better than the last we went through about 3 years ago as the treatment is not a prescription drug that is limited, but rather pure oxygen.   The girls fully understand (as best as they can) what this means and that Daddy’s head hurts.    They have prayed daily for their Daddy’s headaches to go away!   It is priceless to us to hear them pray very specifically.   We are all praying and working through what the triggers are (Caffeine and Chocolate) and when he needs time to just rest for a few minutes.   We praise God they are much more manageable than in the past!

Gracie wrapped up her week with several tests (Math, Spelling and Bible) and is ready to roll into Christmas break which starts towards the end of next week.

Maggie is practicing for her Christmas performance that is next week and eager to be an Angel!  Maggie also seems to think if she wears short sleeves that hat the weather will go from bitter cold to warm!   Not so my dear!   So we compromise and wear a long sleeve shirt under any short sleeve she picks!

Talking...yes, she will not stop.  Maggie that is.  Gracie has a quiet game she does at school and has tried it in the car.  She says “1, 2, 3 quiet mouse” and everyone has to be quiet.   Mommy and Daddy are often the judge.   You can see the look on Maggie’s face that she is trying to hard and then says “1, 2, 3 quiet mouse” as her way of still playing but being able to talk!   Jimmy said “we may get lucky and she will never have a boyfriend as no man can take that much talking!”  Of course he was teasing and know that those details are in God’s control and we are praying over their futures, however it was very funny after she talked non stop from downtown to home to herself!   (Gracie of course was asleep enjoying her own quiet).

Today we visited the Chattanooga Choo Choo to see Santa.   The girls enjoyed it and to me its much better to manage than the mall chaos.   We also had one of Gracie’s friends Lilly with us for the morning which was a lot of fun.

The photographers with Santa always have this little dog with them.  The girls love him.

Maggie, Gracie and Lilly.

Talking to Santa!  This was the first year Maggie did not cry!

Sweet girls!

Mommy loves with some candy!

And we topped it off with breakfast and a hot chocolate!
