Seabrook 2019- Whitmer Family

We love ending the school year with a beach trip.   This year was no exception.   We hit the road at noon on Thursday when the girls were done with school.  This year we decided to do Edisto Island for until Saturday morning when we would head over to Seabrook Island to meet up with my parents.

We are so blessed by the teachers and the environment the girls have been able to experience.    As we wrapped up the year  this message to her teacher was priceless.

On the road to drop Bella off and work / school half day.

Dinner in Edisto

3 nights of fried shrimp for this this girl and her Daddy (well, Daddy did mix in crab cakes).

Uncle Gabe and Aunt Kat joined us in Edisto late Friday night so we snagged a morning walk on the beach.    I love this brother of mine!

it may have been a little cool at first.

these kids together!
On our way to Seabrook from Edisto we enjoyed the Charleston Saturday market.  There was a performer that jumped over these people.  Yes, that is Maggie right in the middle!

Gjysh and KK flew in this year so we met them at the Island Shops to cram into the two SUVs and check into the house.

Seabrook-- you did not disappoint.    We were able to enjoy so much!  We rode bikes, we enjoyed the beach, the pool, horses, and most of all time together!

this is how we spent our time.. Jimmy in the shade and me in the sun.

We did see several aligators this year, most were babies.

Family pictures with Chris are always required and fun!   The kiddos have grown so much since we started using him years ago.

my loves!  Love the photo bomb!

after pictures we do ice cream at Ye Od Fashion Ice Cream!  Delicious!  It has kinda of become a tradition.

Mom and Dad take the kids one night and allow us a great double date out.  Angel Oak Cafe is alway our first choice.   Delicious!

We did some serious bike riding.  The kids rode every day all around.  I rode 12 minutes each morning (2x around the island).  It was the perfect weather and quiet for me to not only exercise, but also refresh and catch a good podcast!

We did just enjoy time out of the sun inside as well.  At night we did "Wheel Unfortunate" based on the Dude Perfect show the kids all watch.  It provided for lots of laughs.

these two have such a special bond.

it is rare Silas slows down.  I loved the snuggles!

Gjysh and KK took the kids on bike rides up to the Island Shops.  Lots of fun memories!

yep... lots of "unfortunates" to spin for

Gracie had Kombucha as her "unfortunate" -- yuck!
And with that the week was complete and we all headed back to the routine of work and a summer rest for the girls!

Headed home!  Played hard on vacation!

This girl makes me laugh!  She loved to listen to music and FaceTime her friends on the trip.

It was nice to come home and be treated by this retreat for the summer!
