2 to Grow With : New 4 Paw Addition!

The week was a good week and ended even better when the girls had the surprise of their life..... a puppy! Yes they knew Jimmy was doing an over night “business trip” and yes they knew we were going to do “family pictures” right when we got home from school which meant changing at school and yes they knew (and were not happy about) we were going to miss the Homecoming game this year. BUT what they did not know was that Daddy’s “business trip” was to get the puppy that had been debated for 2 + years and in the works for the last year researching and planning. And that “family pictures” while would be for the annual Christmas card and to document our family really were to most of all document their reactions so we could later take it all in again!

What were we thinking? We joked all week about each of us talking the other into this, but it was both our decisions and one that we knew was for the girls and for us too! So while this little one is a lot of work we will cherish every memory made now as a family with a 4 paw addition! We are pleased to introduce Bella Martin to you!

She was born on June 11, 2014 and weighted 0.27 pounds. She is now 15 weeks old! She will go to the vet Monday so we will get her current weight.

The girls were speechless as they initially thought the dog was the photographers, then when we told them it was theirs we got blank looks then unbelievable giggles! We had fun doing pictures then just playing until all 3 girls fell asleep downstairs.

Today was so much fun, but a long day. We had to get Bella up at 5ish to walk then we were up all day! We ddi manage to get a bit of a nap (even Bella). She has done great only one accident so far and that was our fault as we were not paying close attention. She has such a sweet disposition and allows the girls to be all over her. Gracie’s favorite is to lay down on the floor next to her with her hand on her and sleep. Maggie prefers to give commands and treats!
